Nick La over at the Web Designer Wall is authoring a complete guide for WordPress theme development. The guide is to cover installing Wordpress locally, building a custom theme, and then loading the final product onto a Web server.
I’ll be watching this closely as I am very curious about how designers relate these kinds of technicalities to other designers. Nick is very good at this exercise. Watch closely!
One ridiculous period of closed development later, our trusted development guide publishers are beginning to release iPhone SDK development guides. Being as how I learned 92% of what I know about programming from books, a subject for which there do not exist (and are not allowed) authors is a sad state of affairs.
